Production Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure smooth plant operations, maintain quality standards, and lead shop-floor teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing or chemical production environments and possess strong team management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Manage production operators, technicians, and shop-floor staff.
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise documentation.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor work-in-progress and resolve production-related issues.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained in the production area.
• Track production efficiency and recommend process improvements.
• Assist in inventory monitoring of production-related consumables and equipment.
• Support production trials, new product development, and process optimization activities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
• Understanding of SOPs, GMP, safety standards, and quality systems.
• Team handling and leadership abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of production planning and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, polymer, or process industry.
• Experience in handling production teams and shift operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
