About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and experienced House Manager to oversee and manage all household operations at the Founder’s residence in South Delhi. The candidate should be capable of independently managing domestic staff, vendors, maintenance activities, household inventory, and day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning of the household.
Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Operations
- Oversee day-to-day management of the residence.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and smooth functioning of all household activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of household facilities and equipment.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Possess basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and household maintenance work.
- Coordinate and supervise electricians, plumbers, carpenters, appliance technicians, and other service providers.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage domestic staff.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline.
- Allocate daily duties and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Inventory & Procurement
- Manage household inventory, supplies, groceries, vegetables, and consumables.
- Coordinate purchases and maintain stock records.
- Ensure timely procurement of required household items.
Vendor Management
- Source and negotiate with vendors for household requirements.
- Coordinate uniforms, dry cleaning services, maintenance contracts, and other service providers.
- Maintain vendor database and service records.
Financial & Administrative Tasks
- Manage household bills and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain expense records and petty cash.
- Track service contracts and renewals.
Event & Hospitality Management
- Plan and coordinate family gatherings and household events.
- Manage table settings, dining arrangements, and hospitality requirements.
- Assist with menu planning and event execution.
Family Support
- Coordinate transportation and chaperoning for school activities, events, and appointments as required.
- Ensure smooth coordination of daily household schedules.
Required Skills
- Strong household administration and staff management experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance work.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as House Manager, Estate Manager, Residence Manager, or similar role.
- Experience managing high-net-worth family residences is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
- Local candidates from Delhi/NCR will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
