Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Manager – Institutional Sales (B2B) to drive corporate and group revenue for the hotel.
The role focuses on developing long-term partnerships with corporate houses, government organizations, and educational institutions to generate consistent MICE and bulk booking business.
The ideal candidate is a proactive business developer with strong networking abilities and a proven record in B2B sales within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and onboard new corporate and institutional clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach
- Develop and expand relationships with companies, government departments, and educational institutions
- Maintain a strong presence in the local corporate ecosystem
Contracting & Negotiations
- Negotiate and finalize Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs)
- Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and commercial discussions
- Structure pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
MICE & Group Business Management
- Generate and manage Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) business
- Conduct property site inspections for potential clients
- Coordinate with F&B and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events and group stays
Account Management & Retention
- Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
- Track client requirements and ensure repeat business
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Candidate Requirements
- 3–6 years experience in B2B or corporate sales in hospitality/hotels
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate accounts
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred:
- Existing network in local corporate / institutional market
- Experience handling MICE business and bulk bookings
